About the Workshop

The rapid and parallel advancements in quantum technology and artificial intelligence are paving the way for a revolutionary new frontier: Quantum Intelligence. The development of powerful quantum processors offers the potential to solve classically intractable problems in AI, while sophisticated machine learning techniques are providing indispensable tools for designing, controlling, and optimizing complex quantum systems.

This synergy is already evident. The burgeoning field of quantum machine learning explores how quantum algorithms can fundamentally enhance learning tasks. Conversely, classical AI is being leveraged to tackle critical challenges in the quantum domain, from discovering novel quantum algorithms to mitigating errors in noisy quantum devices.

The 1st Quantum Intelligence Workshop, to be held from December 1-2, 2025, at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, aims to foster a vibrant dialogue at this exciting intersection. By bringing together leading experts from both communities, we will explore the latest breakthroughs and chart the future of this integrated field. We anticipate this workshop will catalyze new collaborations, spark innovative ideas, and help build a cohesive research community dedicated to unlocking the full potential of the quantum intelligence era.
